Toilet Type

Elongated: Typically two inches longer than a round bowl and the best choice for standard to large sized bathrooms. Many Adults prefer this style due to the extra comfort provided.

Round: Perfect for a smaller bathroom or powder room due to a more compact design.

Rough-In Measurement:

Don't forget to measure your rough-in, the distance between the wall at the back of the toilet and the center of the waste outlet in the floor. The standard distance is 12", but you may see 10" or 14" as well.

Other Features

Chair Height: Toilet seat is 17"-19" off the floor, compared to a typical 15"-17". This creates a more comfortable bathroom experience for most adults and is also an ADA requirement.
